Near perfect conditions for a beautiful holiday weekend.

Swimmers on Fresh Pond reported continued clarity today and no green dots observed anywhere on the pond. Recreational conditions today were about as good as it gets.

Mustafa S. told us “The pond was sublime today. Temperature, clarity, bird activity. It was all perfect.” For Imogene F. , it was the highltigh of her summer. Loudon W. (of “Swimming Song” fame) came and “loved it”. Lucy S. thought it was the clearst ever, with swallows gathering and swooping in front of you. Toward evening Peter and Laurie G. saw fish jumping and a giant snapper surface in a ballet of peaceful activity.
